So I was told that Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension game is for children 10 years and over (it also says on the box). Turns out he is a bad suggestion. Why? Because – and this is the main reason is a 3 star game rather than a 5-Star game – because my five and a half years old a shot the entire game in 3 days. Pre-ordered from Amazon, received on Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension release day (the Tuesday, Aug. 2) … and Friday, August 5, I’m sitting there watching the final credits rolling, and five years with a big smile on his face.

It ‘s almost as if Disney Online realized that the boys loved playing games free Phineas and Ferb on their website and sent an e-mail package for Disney Interactive guide to the next game and pop on a DVD rather than on line. In fact, this is probably what happened. The game is very, very short, and combined with being really easy, I’m not convinced that this is going to have a ton of replayability.

As for the game itself is: Disney Interactive has done a good job with the game itself – the characters / voices / dialogue for the show are true, really understood that “Player 2″ means that 2 players should be able to play (unlike a previous game “Toy Story”), the controls are easy to learn and use, and is quite fun where you want to go forward (and in sufficient checkpoints / levels not to get bored in the middle.) For the game itself, which probably deserves another star … but … the man was short.

Another problem is that the first couple of levels there is a ton of talk / dialogue / “help” pop-ups. This slows down the action, if you already know what’s going on (which, to their advantage, it is not difficult), but without them – the game would have been even shorter.

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension Not a bad game by any means – probably one of the best games from Disney Interactive has thrust upon the world … is too short and easy. In 10 years, could beat in one day, if allowed to sit in front of the TV long enough. Sure, 10 years, would probably enjoy playing, but it will be fun for weeks.

This was for the Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension Wii version, and as a slight disclaimer, I personally have not tried to find some “difficulty” levels or something.
